This study illuminates a successful outcome in a 56-year-old male with anorectal GIST. The patient underwent neoadjuvant imatinib therapy, followed by transanal endoscopic resection and post-operative adjuvant imatinib, resulting in a stable recovery. This underscores the efficacy of targeted therapies in managing rare GIST cases.
