Cytologic Diagnosis of Mesothelioma: Two-Step Immunohistochemistry Approach

This study evaluated cytological features and immunohistochemical markers for diagnosing malignant mesothelioma. Immunohistochemistry with calretinin, WT-1, EMA, and p53 aided in confirming the diagnosis. Cell block preparation and a panel of IHC markers can assist in the cytological diagnosis of mesothelioma.
