Screening Malaria with Mindray BC-6800 Plus Hematology Analyzer
A prospective study evaluated the BC6800 plus as a screening tool for malaria using 30,077 CBC samples. The instrument showed a sensitivity of 88.24% and a specificity of 99.21% for all cases of P. vivax and P. falciparum malaria.
