Sterling Accuris Diagnostics launches a program to provide health awareness and camp especially for children between 10 and 18 years of age.

Sterling Accuris Diagnostics has launched a new program to provide awareness about the health and screening specifically for children aged 10 to 18 in Ahmedabad. 

The health camp aims to address health issues and preventive care by raising awareness on healthy living at the early growing stage of children, as well as screenings for Haemoglobin, abbreviated Hb or Hgb. The health camp was organized at SMILE Centre, Under Gyan Shakti Marg Flyover, Opposite Old IIMA Campus, Ahmedabad, India, Gujarat and the surrounding communities, on a Sunday, August 28th, 2022.

In all, more than 150 children screened for Hemoglobin test and provided the awareness about the healthy lifestyle. A Hemoglobin in red blood cells that carries oxygen to body’s organ and tissues and transports carbon dioxide from organs & tissues back to lungs. If a hemoglobin level is lower than normal, it means you have a low red blood cell count.

Additionally, the health camp was able to successfully promote preventive healthcare, early detection, and treatment of illnesses in the community. 

If children get the best possible care during this gentle time of rapid physical and mental development, it will lead to their transformation into healthy, disease-free adults. The kids' excitement and abundance of energy inspired us to work harder and better!
